We go one step ahead to find the root cause of food cross-contamination

We primarily do PCR and Agar Plate confirmation for any pathogen presumptive positive samples. If we isolate a confirmed positive pathogen, we have the technology to type the strain with a Gold Standard strain typing method, PFGE.


You don’t have to ship the sample to another lab for strain typing. Also, unlike other labs, we don’t do Ribotyping which is less accurate. We follow the CDC protocol that have been using PFGE Typing for years because of its high accuracy.


With PFGE strain typing, we identify the bacterial strain and tell you how long it has been in your processing environment. We also find how the bacteria got transmitted to your finished food products. So, you can update your sanitation program for complete disinfection.
